Following her MS diagnosis in 2012, Katy founded Towards Belonging Ltd and developed BelongifAI — a pioneering tool using AI and VR to help architects master Part M4(2) and (3) standards. Supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering, she bridges the gap between the technical industry and disabled communities. A Visiting Professor at Huddersfield and Aston Universities, Katy doesn’t just advocate for inclusive design — she creates the technology that makes it a reality.

Michael Pawlyn is a leading expert in regenerative design and biomimicry. Central to the team that designed the Eden Project, he established Exploration Architecture in 2007 to focus on high-performance buildings and circular economy solutions.
