A survey, carried out recently by E.ON covering 600 small business, has found that in heavy industry and manufacturing, an average of eight working days are lost as a result of office moves.

The survey which polled the most stressful tasks, found the following

1. Hiring new staff 33%

2. Moving premises 31%

3. Handling Finances 29%

4. Covering Absences 14%

5. Dealing with compliants from customers 12%
