Why is Billi being sold as part of the Culligan / Waterlogic combination?

This sale seeks to address concerns raised by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), and the New Zealand Commerce Commission (NZCC).

Who are Strix?

Isle of Man based Strix, is a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of kettle safety controls and other components and devices involving water heating and temperature control, steam management and water filtration.

Strix’s core product range comprises a variety of safety controls for small domestic appliances, primarily kettles. Kettle safety controls require precision engineering and intricate knowledge of material properties in order to repeatedly function correctly. Strix has built up market leading capability and know-how in this field since being founded in 1982.

Strix is admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange (AIM: KETL).

When will the sale happen?

30th November is the predicted close date of the sale.

I have Waterlogic and Billi machines at my premises, who will be my contact?

The Waterlogic branded machines will continue to be serviced by the Waterlogic team, your Waterlogic account manager, delivery drivers and engineers will remain the same. The Billi taps are included in the sale of the Billi business and will be serviced and managed by the Billi UK team from 30th November 2022, again your Billi account manager, delivery drivers and engineers will remain the same.

Will this affect my pricing or contract?

Your existing contract and pricing will remain the same.

What if I have an issue with my tap?

No change, call the same number that you currently use today for issues.

How frequently will my tap have servicing carried out?

No change, this will be carried out twice per annum.

How will I order parts?

No change, call the same number or use the same email as you currently use today to order parts.

Will I be able to keep the same tap as I currently have?

Yes there will be no change.

When will I see changes to my invoices?

Any invoices raised after 30th November will come from the new Billi UK Ltd, as per your existing billing cycle. The date you receive your invoices on will remain the same.

I have a Purchase Order to raise who do I raise it to?

If it is after 30th November this will need to be raised against the new Billi UK Ltd business. Prior to this you should continue to raise them for WLGB.

I have raised historical Purchase Orders in the name of WLGB and need you to complete supplier set up forms to get Billi UK newco set up in our system.
