This version of the Quadra 440 has Billi’s XL dispenser with contrasting red and blue levers. The colours help users distinguish the boiling and chilled controls, offering an accessibility consideration for shared kitchens and users with vision impairments.
The system supplies filtered boiling and chilled water for workplaces of up to 40 people, with position-sensitive levers and a safety switch for boiling water. Billi’s UK specification identifies this red-and-blue configuration as meeting the relevant colour-contrast criteria for an Equality Act-focused installation.
The under-counter unit uses water-cooled heat exchange technology to recover waste heat. As it doesn’t need ventilation grilles in the surrounding cabinetry, it gives kitchen designers flexibility without taking up more worktop space.
