The XT dispenser uses touch-sensitive controls on the tap to select filtered boiling or chilled water. Alongside it, a separate paddle mixer provides ordinary hot and cold water for the sink, so the drinking-water outlet has its own place in a shared kitchen.
The Quadra Plus 9 produces mixer hot water using the incoming cold mains supply. Beneath the worktop, its water-cooled heat exchange technology removes the need for ventilation grilles in the cabinetry.
This version is rated for workplaces of up to 60 people. The XT controls are touch-sensitive rather than touchless, which is an important distinction when describing how the dispenser operates.
