Office water FAQs
How many people can one Billi system serve?
It depends on the model. Compact systems suit up to around 20 people, mid-range systems serve up to 60, and the largest commercial units are rated for 100 or more. Because those figures assume typical office use, tell us about your peak demand: a floor with back-to-back meetings needs more capacity than headcount alone suggests.
How disruptive is installation?
Billi systems install above or below bench and need a mains water supply and a power socket. There is no cupboard cut-out for ventilation because the systems are water-cooled, and a self-commissioning function shortens set-up. Our own engineers handle installation nationwide.
Can we get sparkling water as well as boiling and chilled?
Yes. The Quadra Sparkling and Alpine Sparkling ranges add filtered sparkling water from the same under-counter unit, with CO2 pressure adjustable up to 5 bar. Chilled water temperature is adjustable between 6°C and 15°C.
How often do the filters need changing?
Every 12 months as a minimum, though every 6 months is recommended in high-use areas. Filters carry a digital lockout and a visual change reminder, and a BilliCare plan covers the changes on a scheduled visit.
Will it save us money against bottled water?
For most offices, yes. The ongoing cost is filters and electricity rather than repeat deliveries, and standby mode powers the system down after two hours without use. Send us your current spend and we will model it against a Billi system.
