While our systems are designed for quick and easy under-sink water filter installation, it’s imperative to have the installation done by a licensed tradesperson. This ensures proper installation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
All Billi units are equipped with an internal or external PLV (Pressure Limiting Dual-check Valve). If cold water isn’t flowing, debris may have blocked the PLV filter screen inlet. Always check to ensure it’s clear.
You might have a twisted or kinked red hose inside the benchtop mount. Disconnect it and ensure you can easily blow through the tube to check for blockages. If it still isn’t dispensing boiling water, safety mode may have been accidentally activated disabling the boiling side, or your heating element may not be working properly, contact us for support if the issue persists.
This is normal behaviour when installing a Billi Quadra unit. The system is priming the cold tank and will stop running once the hot water tank fills.
Allow 45 minutes after installation for the Quadra Plus unit to operate correctly. This enables the system to fill and heat enough water for the proper mixer tap function. Also, ensure the red light on the tap is glowing solid, indicating boiling water is ready.
