Positioning matters in a busy shared kitchen, particularly when different people need to reach the controls. On this Quadra Plus 15, the XR drinking-water dispenser has a remote panel that can be located separately from the water outlet. Its position should be considered as part of the overall kitchen design rather than assumed to make an installation accessible.
The XR outlet supplies filtered boiling and chilled water. A separate paddle mixer handles hot and cold sink water, with the under-counter unit heating the mixer's water from a cold mains feed. The Plus 15 is rated for workplaces of up to 100 people and has a published initial mixer hot-water drawdown of 15 litres at 50°C.
Water-cooled heat exchange means the surrounding cabinetry does not need ventilation grilles.
